Wedding Cakes

From simple to the more detailed designs, I’m here to help you get what you envision at your wedding.

Cake trends come and go, so whatever your style, I’m here to create it!
As styling is everything when it comes to a wedding, I am happy to create something that will compliment your theme - whether it be traditional, modern, vintage, rustic, not to mention what’s trending at the time.
If you don’t know where to start, not a problem! After getting to know what you like and most importantly, what you don’t like, I am happy to guide you in the right direction.

Having both standard and premium flavours for you to choose from, you are bound to find something that will please your guests.

Pricing can vary, as all cakes are custom made. The design, number of serves and delivery details all differ, therefore will affect the end price. So where possible, I will give you an alternative option, giving you control of the final price.

If your design requires sugar flowers, I’m more than happy to custom make them to suit your colour palette. Alternatively, if you prefer to use fresh flowers, I’m more than happy to work with your designated florist, or mine.
Using only quality ingredients Priscilla’s Cakes has a range of cake flavours & various fillings available.

Frequently Asked Questions

This depends on the season. Wedding season and sacrament season tend to get booked months in advance (August - March)

For all other months, I would recommend to make your enquires from 4-6 weeks in advance.

On the odd occasion I might be able to take on an order within 2 weeks notice depending on the amount of work involved in your chosen design.

No, you don’t need to. I have a florist and an acrylic’s supplier that I use regularly. I am happy to organise the flowers for you and/or an acrylic cake topper/plaque.

However should you wish to use your own supplier, then that’s fine as well, I will provide instructions as to what’s required.

Yes. I always make a point of delivering wedding cakes, as these are usually larger/tiered cakes.

Sacrament cakes, I also offer delivery, as I understand these days can be very busy for the families.

All other cakes, delivery is available depending on the days workload.

A delivery fee is provided when you provide me with the venue details, as the pricing varies upon distance, tolls, and parking availability.

Yes. If you are having more than one tier or a tall cake, yes. However, depending on the configuration of the tiers, this may result in an uneven distribution of flavours to your guests.

A surcharge is applied when choosing more than one cake flavour.

Yes and no.

If you don’t I will generally use a cake filling that will compliment the cake flavour. Is isn’t the main component of your cake, so it’s not necessary.

This depends on the finish of your cake and the weather. Buttercream finish cakes usually do, only for transportation reasons. And if the weather is extremely hot, and you have fresh flowers, then to prevent the flowers from wilting, the cake might need refrigeration. However there are other factors I need to consider - whether other decorations on your cake will create the condensation to make colours bleed.

I purposely use non perishable fillings for all my cakes.

Therefore, this is assessed on a case by case basis.

Each designer has their own flair and style. So nothing can be recreated to that in the image. I sometimes can’t recreate one of my own designs exactly the same, for a number of reasons - flower in season might be different, your cake size might be different to that in the image, etc.

Yes. I have certain cake stands available for hire when you order a cake with Priscilla’s Cakes. These stands will bear the weight of the cake for the entire time it remains on display. Each stand hire fee is different. And each hire fee attracts a refundable bond when the cake stand is returned to me in it’s original condition within 5 days of its hire date.
